Welcome to Medical Imaging Academy
The purpose of the Medical Imaging Academy is to provide learners with general knowledge of medical diagnostic imaging modalities so that they may gain employment as entry level Technologists.

At the completion of program graduates will be able to perform all duties prescribed by that modality. These functions include, but are not limited to:

• Obtaining quality diagnostic images while following safety guidelines;
• Adhere to appropriate patient care procedures required by study performed;
• Manipulate various types of imaging equipment;
• Complete documentation as required by departmental protocol;
• Document appropriate procedures in patient chart according to policy; and adhere to infection control and biohazard procedures in order to avoid spread of disease.
